Developing Clean Energy Projects on Tribal Lands: Data and Resources for Tribes
This document provides updated estimates of renewable energy potential on Indian lands. The data was analyzed by the DOE Office of Indian Energy and NREL, which used geospatial methodology to update and substantiate the estimated renewable energy technical potential on tribal lands. The purpose is to provide tribal governments with data to make informed decisions about renewable development options for their communities. For more background, see the full technical report: Geospatial Analysis of Renewable Energy Technical Potential on Tribal Lands.
